Flowtime Does Not Display Properly on Mobile Devices

Description

Flowtime site and forms load properly on desktop browsers, but do not load properly on mobile devices. Some common issues include:

  • Missing Flowtime grids
  • Missing CSS
  • JavaScript is not running
  • Remote debugging displays errors, such as:
Refused to execute script from 'https://flowdev.mycompany.com/Shared%20Resources/js/jQuery/jQueryInclude.js' because its MIME type ('text/html') is not executable, and strict MIME type checking is enabled……
Uncaught ReferenceError: $sq is not defined ……..

Cause

SharePoint applies its own mobile view policy, which conflicts with Cora SeQuence behavior.

Affected Versions

All versions with Flowtime on SharePoint.

Solution

There are two solutions.

  • Deactivate the Mobile View feature in SharePoint by navigating to Flowtime > Site Settings > Manage site features > Locate Mobile Browser View > Deactivate.
  • For mobile device access, instead of using Flowtime, use ProcessTOGO, which is a lighter runtime application designed specifically for mobile devices.
