Cora SeQuence 8.6.0.1 Release Notes

31 July 2018

This is an update for Cora SeQuence v8.6, which includes a fix for the issue detailed below.

Resolved Issue

When setting up Dashboard Filters, if you added more than one combo box filter, each connected to a different data source, only the last filter displayed correct values. The other filters displayed an “undefined” value.

Update Steps

Updating from v8.6.

  1. Back up your Cora SeQuence database.
  2. Copy the JS files under Shared Resources\Components\DataStreams\js to a temporary location.
  3. Download the ZIP file.
  4. Open the DB Scripts folder, and run thePatchSynchronization_Data.sql script on your Cora SeQuence database.
  5. Run IISRESET.
  6. Make sure the following files and folders are in the same level on the server.
    • Engine
    • SequencePatch.xml
    • SequencePatcher.ps1
  7. RunSequencePatcher.ps1 file as Administrator on the Cora SeQuence Flowtime and Administration servers.
    1. Right clickSequencePatcher.ps1 , and then select Run with PowerShell.
  8. Run IISRESET for the change to take effect.

Rollback Steps (in case of failure)

  1. Restore the Cora SeQuence database to previous state.
  2. Return the JS files.

NOTE:  If you are running a Cora SeQuence version earlier than v8.6, you need to install v8.6 before you install v8.6.0.1.
