Cora SeQuence 8.5.9 Release Notes

This is an update for Cora SeQuence v8.5, which includes a fix for the issue detailed below.

Resolved Issue

Lack of API backward compatibility with v7.10.5:  When upgrading to v8.5.8, the TaskViewModel object TaskInstance property was null. 

Resolution: Object Ref was fixed to allow access to TaskInstance values.

Update Steps

  1. Back up the Cora SeQuence database. 
  2. Download the ZIP file.
  3. Open the DB Scripts folder, and run thePatchSynchronization_Data.sql script  on your Cora SeQuencedatabase.
  4. Run IISReset. 
  5. Make sure that the following files and folders are in the same level on the server.
    • Engine
    • SequencePatch.xml
    • SequencePatcher.ps1
  6. RunSequencePatcher.ps1 file as Administrator on all Cora SeQuence servers:
    1. Right click SequencePatcher.ps1and then select Run with PowerShell
  7. Run IISReset for the change to take effect. 

Rollback Steps (in case of failure)

  1. Restore the Cora SeQuence database to previous state.
  2. Return the old dlls.

NOTE:  If you are running a Cora SeQuence version earlier than v8.5.7, you need to install v8.5.7 before you install v8.5.8.
