Split Activity Overview

Context

Use the Split Activity to move the workflow forward to multiple activities, in parallel. The direction that the workflow moves is defined by the result of a set of conditions on several target activities.

Use Cases

  • Simultaneously send a service request to the inventory warehouse to check for available parts, and to customer service so they can contact the customer to confirm receipt of the request.
  • Simultaneously send a mortgage application to the background check department and the financial auditing department.

Wizard Tips

  • In the Output Conditions screen, the Order parameter defines the order that Sequence checks the conditions.
